Overview: Staff from the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division (ADAD) will present the finer details and goals of the Hawai'i Opioid Initiative, and how it overlaps with the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division's current and future opioid initiatives and its system-of-care priorities. Additionally, there will be a rountable discussion to obtain community feedback from Maui County substance misuse prevention and treatment professionals, medical professionals, and other community stakeholders on ways in which Maui County can actively participate in the Hawai'i Opioid Initiative and ADAD's priorities. This summit is a continuation of the Maui Opioid Summit that took place on September 27, 2018.
