Facilitator:
Yonie K. Ledward-Herrera, MAC, LMHC is a licensed Mental Health Counselor that Practices out of two locations, Pearl City and Wahiawa. In addition to meeting with individuals and families, she runs Continuing Care Groups from her Wahiawa office aimed at helping individuals get reacclimated to everyday life while still being supported by a community. She specializes in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD), but works heavily with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression. Clinically, the LMHC earned most of her group hours working with the military population in Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient settings at Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program (SARP). The group facilitator also has experience working for the state in multiple family and re-unification/permanency programs.
Target Audience:
Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC) and applicants; those with other ADAD professional credentials; and anyone involved in the human services field.
