ADAD Training: Positive Psychology

Parking is only available on the street surrounding the ADAD building or in the public parking lot at the Kakuhihewa Building-Parking will not be validated.
Cost: $25.00 payable to CDFH by credit card through the registration site.
Certificate: 6 hours ADAD approved.

Learning Objectives:
This workshop is to introduce the concept of Positive Psychology and the benefits of applying these techniques to the worker's professional and personal lives. Participants will discern the difference of Positive verses Negative Self Talk. All will be able to engage in group activities, review research findings, and practice effective stress management tools.
Facilitator:
Jessica Torralva, LMHC, NCC. Jessica has extensive experience in the Human Services Field working as a Supervisor for an evidenced-based treatment program. Jessica is the Area Chair for the Social Sciences program at a private college. Jessica is also currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology.
Target Audience:
Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC), Certified Prevention Specialists (CPS), and applicants; those with other ADAD professional credentials; and anyone involved in the human services field.
