Target Audience: Youth-serving organizations, school counselors and other school personnel, youth after-school and other prevention-related programs, and others working in substance misuse prevention. Professionals in the prevention and treatment field who are interested in obtaining the Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) credential. This training is only open to participants residing in Hawai‘i.

2. Recognize the perfect storm
3. Frame the scope of the problem with opioids
4. Recognize the current position of the local opioid crisis
