This training session will focus on steps participants can take to assess their community's retail environment on drugs and alcohol. An assessment framework and assessment tools will be provided to participants to help them collect data on their own community's retail environment.

Learning Objectives:
Participants will learn a data collection framework for assessing their community's drug and alcohol retail environment.

Participants will learn how to utilize data collection tools to better assess their retail environment.

Participants will learn ways to engage their community and community coalition members in the data collection process.

Target audience: This training is relevant to prevention providers, treatment providers, and community stakeholders implementing prevention programs and those working in community coalitions to reduce substance misuse in their communities.
